Welcome to Sugarclub Cafe... Sugar is a meeting point for gay people in Istanbul. It is the unique terras cafe in the Beyoglu area.

If u are too hot in the summer of Istanbul city, take a break in our terras. Also In the winter days we have a warm interieur, friendly colleges and Istanbul's gay society to make you feel at home. Alcoholic drinks and a wide range of meals are available.

The cafe is open everyday from 11.00 till 01.00.
It is on Sakasalim Street which is a small street on Istiklal Street ( there is a Gloria Jeans Cafe at the corner of the street ).

This small but nice gay cafe & restaurant is located on a narrow lane on Istiklal Avenue, somewhere opposite of St. Antoine Church. There is a sign-board of the cafe with rainbow flag colors at the entrance of the lane (Saka Salim Sokagi). In summer they put table outside.

There is free wireless internet connection in the area. The prices are very reasonable and various foods are available. Attended by nice gay men, and there are no hustlers or rent boys usually.

This is a relaxed place to socialise with the Istanbul gay crowd during the daylight hours and well into evening.

Queen: Club

Queen is a small night club wiht very friendly staff and manager. The music is great in Queen Dancing, probably because one of the managers of the club is a well known DJ, a handsome young guy very much admired in the vicinity.

Dar Charkia is located in the well-known Dar el Bacha antique dealers district close to the Bab Doukkala mosque, which is one of the smartest areas within the Medina in Marrakech.

Dar Charkia is situated only steps away from road access and guarded parking, via a wide, well lit pedestrian street.

Directions

At the corner of Rue Dar el Bacha and Rue de Bab Doukkala (the closest taxi drop off point) walk west (there is a patisserie on the left corner and an archway marked 'Dar Marjana' on the right corner) into a wide pedestrian street (Rue de Bab Doukkala) about 50 metres and take the first turning to the right under an archway (marked Derb Halfaoui on the wall to the left as you enter). You will pass a couple of small food shops on both sides and the neighbourhood bread oven on your right.

Continue down this derb about 30 metres until you have the entrance to the mosque on your left and take the first right opposite the door to the Mosque.

Dar Charkia is the first door on the left, slightly set back from the main derb marked '50' above the door. The address is 49-50 Derb Halfaoui and the phone number of the house is 024

The Riad Karmela is located right in the heart of the old Medina, only 2 minutes walk from the entrance of the Souks (market) and also 2 minutes from the Museum of Marrakech and the Medersa Ben Youssef. The famous and magic Place Djemma el Fnaa is only 8 minutes walk

You will appreciate the calm and the elegance of that large Riad which has just been renovated. Enjoy a plunge pool in the Patio in the shadow of the Orange trees or relax in the traditional hamam after an exciting shopping day in the Souks.

There is also a large terrace with a solarium and a lounge area and you can have a dip in the terrace Jacuzzi in the warm days. Aquarius Sauna is a very popular Turkish Bath & Sauna of Istanbul open for over 10 years. It is located near Taksim square in Beyoglu district offering amenities such as sauna, Jacuzzi, swimming pool, gym, fitness, bath, chill out café bar, health massage and private massage by male masseurs.

How to find: Sadri Alisik street is opposite from the small mosque (Aga Camii) on Istiklal Avenue. There is Swatch shop at the beginning corner of the street.

A 24 hours open sauna & bath house with mainly rent boys, but you can also meet other gay men like you if that is what you prefer. You can also go there comfortably with people you meet in other places, especially the ones you think your hotel would not welcome. It is not very much recommended to go to the place of the other people you just met, and this place would also be safer in that sense. It has a dry sauna, Jacuzzi, swimming pool, a gym section with little functions and a cafeteria area to rest for a drink. The new administration is very friendly.

Aquarius sauna is open round the clock. It is like a haven for the people who are looking for comfort and relaxation day and night. The main concern of the administration is to provide security for their clients as well as their general satisfaction.
